It's a bit like the debate over the glass being half full or half empty. Some will ask Why? and others will ask Why not?...
This small stoneware piece measures 2 3/4" high x 1 5/8" wide (70mm x 40mm) and was fired multiple times with engobes, stains, underglaze pencils, glazes and china paints. The small, functional door was attached after the firing was completed using a small brass hinge. The questioning one is now ready to wear as a pendant or to display.
